I had the pleasure of photographing these 3 girls last May and they returned for a mini session this year. They were even more fun this time. I love it when families return. I get to see the kids grow up and know that mom and dad love my work enough to return year after year. That is a huge compliment. Hoping we can get mom and dad in the pictures next year — I think it will be time for a family portrait. And to top off a wonderful session Mom introduced me to a park I had never visited, Francis Park in St. Louis Hills. Luuuuuuv it! I know I’ll be returning there soon.

It doesn’t get any cuter than this – St. Louis Child Photographer
Sunday, May 23rd, 2010Catch Me If You Can! – St. Louis Baby Photographer
Sunday, May 16th, 2010Holy Cow do 18 month old boys move fast! Look at this adorable guy. Check out those curls and that chin dimple. As pretty as he is, he’s ALL boy. And he really didn’t care that mom wanted pictures. I mean, get real — sticks and digging in the mud are far more interesting than that lady with the camera! But I caught you despite your best efforts to evade me baby H. Can’t you just feel his exuberance and zest for life?
And did you notice the large stick in his hand? Well he found the biggest stick he could find and that was the only one he was willing to settle for. It was so big for him he lost his balance a few times. When we tried to switch it out for a more reasonably sized stick I got to hear his growl. Quite impressive I must say!
Personality Plus — Plus! – St. Louis Children’s Photographer
Tuesday, May 4th, 2010Gorgeous weather. Gorgeous kids. What more could I ask? Really these kids are just adorable aren’t they? Look at those eyes. Look at that hair. Mom even dressed them perfectly.
And personality? Those twin 17 month old boys made me work for it. They knew they were in charge and made sure I knew it, too. You can just see the mischief in their eyes. LOL. Nancy and Todd you have your work cut out for you. I can only imagine what they are going to come up with in the next few years. And your gorgeous tween–wow. What a lovely, lovely girl; inside and out.

Magic in the Apple Blossoms
Sunday, April 11th, 2010I’ve had this idea in my head for a while and finally was able to make it a reality. This was just before sunset in the apple orchards at Eckert’s. Lily was so excited when she spied my doll house. Watching her open the doll house with that child’s sense of curiosity, wonder, and belief in magic was…. well magical.

Lemonade Party – Lindsay’s Chocolate Cafe
Thursday, April 8th, 2010Late afternoon lemonade party with the sweet, bubbly Lindsay. She was such a good model and by the time we were done, I think she had fun. Mom was totally laid back and I love when moms are laid back. She trusted me and that’s the best compliment I can get; well, unless Mom cries from joy when she sees the images! LOL
These were done for Lindsay’s Chocolate Cafe and Coffee House in O’Fallon, MO. If you haven’t stopped by yet you must. The food is delicious. And I’m not the only one who says so — their chocolate chip cookies were voted Best in the Midwest by Midwest Living Magazine.

Fun in the Daffodils
Saturday, April 3rd, 2010Spent about 45 minutes in a field of daffodils in Town & Country last night. A storm was blowing in and we were losing light fast. This was just a fun session with a 2 year old daughter of a lovely neighbor, and a 3 year old daughter of a new friend, who also happens to be a photographer. While we were shooting the air instantly got cold and we all kind of freaked out. We stopped not long after and raced for the car before the rain got us.

The Curious Bennett
Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010I’m editing this session and this picture just makes me giggle so I had to share. He looks so curious.
Baby Bennet – St. Louis Baby Photographer
Saturday, February 27th, 2010From this morning’s session with 4 month old Bennet. He was so sweet and such a little peanut. Don’t you love that hair and expression. Looks like I’ve really surprised him, eh?
