Attitude – St. Louis High School Senior Photographer

Monday, November 17th, 2008

I was fortunate enough to get to spend the afternoon with this sweet senior girl. She was a bit shy but once she warmed up she was smokin’! C, enjoy! You’re just as beautiful on the outside as you are on the inside.

Another lovely family – St. Louis Family Photographer

Wednesday, November 12th, 2008

It’s that time of year where I photograph lots and lots of families. This lovely family recently transplanted from Chicago, and I’m very glad to welcome them to our state and city. Baby C is so sweet I just wanted to scoop her up and kiss on her. But she wasn’t very fond of me when we started out so I thought I better not! Anyway, K&D enjoy this sneak peek. Feel free to leave a comment, and be sure to send your family and friends here for a look.

My Good Luck Charm – St. Louis Family Photographer

Sunday, November 9th, 2008

Some of you will remember these children from my segment on Show Me St. Louis 6 years ago. These darling boy and girl twins were my models for that piece. I got to know their mom really well and she has become one of my best friends. She asked me to do a family session as a surprise for her in-law’s anniversary. Well, just as the Show Me St. Louis segment boosted my business, I think some special work I did for her will do it again. When I was editing the images I started fiddling with this first one and came across a new fine art process that I love. Hope she does too! I plan to start offering it to all my clients soon. (Hint. Hint. Look for a future blog with a special promotion related to this new art form.) I can’t wait to hear everyone’s reaction.

And here’s the whole family — with standard processing.

Update on my Dad – St. Louis Photographer

Thursday, November 6th, 2008

Thanks for all the e-mails and well wishes. My dad was actually doing better and then he developed a kidney stone last night. He’s having surgery today. The poor man has been through the wringer.

Keep all the prayers and good thoughts coming our way.

I was able to get a few orders out today and will ship more this weekend, barring anymore issues with my dad. Thanks for your patience. Peggi, I know your 3 week proofing deadline is coming up, but I’ll do my best to make it on time.

 That’s all for now!

Things are kind of crazy right now ~ St. Louis Family Photographer

Monday, November 3rd, 2008

Just a quick note to let everyone know that things have gotten crazy for us. My father had a massive heart attack Saturday evening, while I was on a shoot actually, and I’m getting a bit backed up with my editing. I ask for everyone’s patience during this difficult time.

My dad is in intensive care right now and the docs are trying to determine the best course of treatment. At 82 years old and with 8 blockages it’s a tough call.

Thanks for your understanding. Feel free to send me an e-mail message if you have any concerns about your order.  — Robin
