Welcome to Robin Orvis Photography. If you've never had portraits created by a fine art portrait photographer you're in for a treat. My style, personality and photo sessions are carefree and fun. Custom portraiture shouldn't make you feel uncomfortable, rushed or cause you any stress. This is definitely not your average photo session!

My style of photography is different than anything you'll find in St. Louis. I'm not traditional and don't wish to be. I like to mix it up. I never ask anyone to say "cheese" or do a "stand-here-and-smile" pose. I often fly by the seat of my pants. I love nothing more than a surprise that makes me think outside of the box -- that's when I get creative.

After fomal training in college and 15 years shooting just for myself, I opened my own professional photography business in 2000. I'm proud to say that my family and children's portrait work is displayed in homes from New York to California to Florida, and everywhere in between.

I reside in St. Louis with my fabulous husband, darling son and our beagle named Lou. Living with three wild boys leaves me no choice but to keep it real and have fun.

My children's portraits are featured in both local and national businesses and my non-portrait work is represented by Grafica Fine Arts Gallery in Webster Groves, Missouri.
